[Strangely, this was not the first time something like this had happened; although, for a change it was the first time Schuldig had ever woken up on the roof of a strange building in a town he’d never been in before. At least he doesn’t remember being here before, but there was the feeling of something or someone familiar.

I've never killed anyone without a good reason or a good payoff. Boredom doesn't count as either.
