I can't wait to travel. I want to leave so bad. I feel trapped. I feel like I'm wasting my young life sitting on my ass, literally, I sit practically all day straight. The only times I get up are to go to my classes, and when I walk to the car. I want to do something, and go somewhere.

I wrote a kick-ass rough draft college essay. I spilled out all my opinions on peace. I'm a little scared about how my english teacher is going to respond (we have to turn it in).

Whatever, I'm risking everything I have for this paper (which I am sending to Duke and UNC chapel Hill this December)

God help me.

On Saturday I had the yummiest birthday cake in the world. It was so good.

I am seventeeen, I am seventeeen, I am seventeeen!!! I love it so far.

Ok, so on friday night I had an adventure, but I don't want to write it here because I don't know how safe it is from you know who. In any case I'll eventually write it, but not now.

My birthday is day after tomorrow, it doesn't really seem that exciting. It's just like Arthur said this morning "17 is a useless age, you're in between getting your license (16) and 18."
