Chain Tale

So this could be really fun if you give it a chance.  I don't care how silly it sounds -- it can, so try it!
I have begun a story below, and it is your job to continue it.  The rules are as follows:
You must write a paragraph of at least three sentences.  It can be anything you want, as long as it fits with the story so far.  Nothing disgusting or ( Read more... )

At precisley three o'clock Henry Weatherton, as always, gently opened his plain white front door. He glanced this way, glanced that, turned a swift circle to ensure he had not forgotten anything, and stepped gingerly out onto the sidewalk. No sooner had he done so than a brawny burst of wind rushed by, rustling his plain blue-and-white striped t-shirt and nearly blowing off his plain white baseball cap. He shielded his plain brown eyes from the brightness of the sun that beamed through a dull grey sky. "Typical of Chicago," Henry thought to himself. "You'd think that after a while, something would change, but no. All it ever is is people, cars, and wind." And with that he set out on his daily stroll across the town ( ... )

"Nope. Name's Fred. Now run along to your mother."
Henry hated kids. There was actually little else in the world that Henry disliked more. Mostly because they were always running around with silly imaginings in their head, too caught up in stories to see anything real around 'em. Stupid, helpless, spoiled brats. That's what they were. Which is why he never got married. Well, that was one reason, at least.

The other reason was a deep dark secret Henry would rather not divulge with the general public. It would be dangerous if he married. After all, the U.S's top spy could hardly be expected to settle down with a wife and kid AND go about finding out where North Korea kept there missles, now could he?

yes, because he didn't have any secrets and never even dreamed of going to North Korea. He actually was a Circus performer from South Carolina. You see he liked working as a trapeze artist. His favorite costume had purple and red sequins and it was skin tight. In fact he had a crush on his Partner Marsha Spittles. she was the tight rope walker/trapeze women. Some say she was the prettiest women to live. But i just think she looked like the bearded lady freak show.

Henry sighed, reviewing the thoughts he just had. Dang, that schitzophrenia was just getting out of hand. He'd have to talk to the FBI shrink about that sometime. But now, to business. His new neighbor was a Russian spy. And he intended to do something about it. And take trapeze lessons.

He soon became the star of an amazing act where he tamed a lion whilst both man and mammal flew through the air on a trapeze; they called it "Birdie and the Beast." It was a huge hit! Henry became world-renowned, as wide-eyed spectators from all ends of the earth sat gaping in awe at the amazing feats he accomplished with ease. Henry's fellow Circuteers painted themselves green with envy--the fortune teller even conjured a tale of his demise--and he found himself bathed in the constant light of riches and glory. But Henry was not content. Somehow, something was missing in his life. But then that something suddenly walked into the tent. His beloved Marsha Spittles, who had disappeared years ago due an untalented magician's mistakes in a Chicago performance, was now standing mysteriously before him. Could this really be so?!

No. It was just the beared lady. Henry sighed deeply as he stared around his private dressing room. The act that everyone was so jealous of couldn't have been accomplished without magic. Magic he had forsaken a long time ago for a shot at Marsha. Why oh why had he ever taken her to that magic show?! But...she was gone now...Henry looked up into the mirror hanging on the door to check his appearance one last time before his performance and to his shock found the head of the CIA standing in his room!
"Commander Thortonbobbledulandriae?" Henry asked in a quivering voice.

"No, it's just me Rooney...I’m not wearing my clown suit." "Oh okay." Henry stood up and walked toward the show. "Wait, I need to tell you something." Rooney said and stared at Henry. Henry waited. "Well I know you have had problems with this woman named Marsha. You see she has a twin sister. But her twin isn’t exactly the prettiest women." Henry looked up confused. "Her twin is the Circus' bearded lady. Marsha will be attending this show. She wanted for me to tell you hello." Henry's mood jumped from low to heaven. Having her back in his life was enough "magic" for him to perform the best show he has ever performed. He finally walked out onto the middle of the ring with the bright lights on him and took it all in. He was finally a Trapeze artist.

After the show, Henry finally saw his long lost love. So he proposed to Marsha Spittles. It turns out her name was no longer Marsha Spittles. Her name was Marsha Skittles. Taste the Rainbow!! "Noooooooo!!" Henry Said. Marsha said, "Sorry, I am married to a hobo named Cheeseman Skittles! I met him in the alleyway of the Magic tent one year ago. This is our anniversery!" She nicely explained that Marsha and Cheeseman had gone to Europe for a VERY long honeymoon. That was why she disappeared.

Henry felt his heart break into a million pieces. Now...Now he must go back to the only other place besides with Marsha that he had been happy. Hogwarts. Henry slowly packed his bags, said good bye to the clowns and left to go back and defeat Voldemort. It was time to become Harry Potter again!

But then he remembered...he renounced his powers! and e all know that once you do that, you can NEVER go back. So Henry decided to do what was best...he decided to go live under the sea. He always wanted to be a Merman anyway. so he was turned into a merman by the actual harry potter and once you're merman you can't go back. so he has to live life underthe sea now. but he was excited i mean, what could go wrong?

Henry kicked the scitzo side of his brain. He called him George. Henry sighed deeply. It would be nice to become a merman. But he was born, raised, and still was Harry Potter! It was off to save the day! He ran off gleefully towards Hogwarts, changing into his wizarding robes along the way. Once there he looked longingly at the lake. It would be nice to be a merman. But now...Now he must face Voldemort!
