dilemma

I have no new excuse for my lack of post. Same old too-tired-to-post-after-reading-through-friends-page one. At least I'm still around and commenting, yes? *___*

Thanks to dear Alli and her friend for transferring her RSVP to me... I'm going to LA for USC's premiere of the Hidden Fortress XD. Problem: the night before is the Asian American ( Read more... )

Yea, but not everyone's gonna be at the BBQ T___T. Well I guess it's better than nothing right.

Have you planned your trip? You should buy the plane tickets soon while they're still cheaper. It's crazy how fast the prices go up every day x___X

It's just so frustrating #____#. Usually when I get frustrated, I'd run away from RL by distracting myself with Arashi. How can I do that now when RL & fandom is overlapping...

I just realized I don't know this... either that or it has escaped my mind at the moment :P. Who's your ichiban in Arashi??

Cuz seriously, I wouldn't go to this much trouble if it wasn't Jun. The other 4... I'd go as far as the East Coast :P Unless I'm filthy rich of course XD

That is my dream. Fandom and RL colliding. But in my dream it would be romantic reasons. BWAHAH XDDD ( ... )

That totally makes sense. When I first heard about LA, I thought of going... but yea just like you, I was being rational too. But then I found out that apparently I get paid $2/hr more than I thought I was.

Not that big of a difference really... but hey it's the most I ever make. So in the spur of the moment... I decided to go. Then somehow just went through with planning the rest of it.

Yep I'm totally not expecting much. Truthfully, I'm not even convinced that Jun himself is gonna be there. But if he's really gonna be there, I'll be happy just to see him from afar. If I get some pictures too... I'll think of it as extras :D Oh, and I'm prepared to get a death-stare from him for taking pictures of him hahahah.

So hopefully... I'll get to see a bit of LA and hangout with other fans... so that at least I won't come home empty-handed =)

I'm still being rational too. No, I don't think I'd get to talk to him or ask for his autograph or anything (this is JUN we're talking about hahah). But hey, fantasizing is a whole different thing

Why don't you just take Monday off, it's only one day? Daripada sehari doank and possibly missing out on that dinner?

So Jun really is coming then? How exciting for you XP

And yeaa... what's up with all the flight cancellations sih?

The return flight is not even the issue here. That return flight is very much all set. I can't possibly miss the dinner because of the plane. First of all, they won't leave earlier than scheduled. And the thing's only until 9:30pm. I have enough time. If, hypothetically, I don't have enough time... I wouldn't rush and leave from the dinner anyway. I'd rather miss my flight.

From what I gathered by reading a couple of articles + wiki, it seems that the FAA are making the airlines make sure those MD-80 planes are safe. Apparently there've been quite a number of crashes with those planes. I'd rather have them do this than die on a plane crash, really. I don't like those small one-aisle planes anyway.

I meant the extra day for sightseeing.

But wow, when reading the comment, it's like hearing someone from those documentaries talking... "very much all set" "i can't possibly" "if, hypothetically" "from what I gathered" "quite a number" It's so proper! XD I mean I know you write like that but it's different?

Well to tell you the truth, I don't really need the extra sightseeing day. I'd rather go to that club dinner. But since it seems that I can't make it to the dinner if I wanna get there early enough, I might as well come Friday AND go sightseeing on Saturday. Cuz I don't see the point of leaving Saturday night, arriving in Atlanta 3 hours later, and waiting for 8 HOURS for the next plane so that I can get there by dawn. That's just stupid.

I do write like that. I have a talent for writing (fangirling doesn't count) hahah. Which is pretty bizarre since I blabber when I talk in English. But hey, all my English teachers (+ Mrs. Doyle) in high school said I could have a career in journalism or something like that. It's one of my options still. Except that in college writing, I never put that much effort into a writing to actually write a good paper.

Hey hun! Awww, you're doing so much to come here, I hope everything works out! Honestly, I think I might do the same thing if it meant getting to see one of the boys...especially if that boy was my ichiban!

Gambatte! Can't wait to see you!! :D
