Vampiric Romance

The last few days have left me feeling blue. A friend of the family, Chris, who was fighting colon cancer like my parents, passed away. She was 41. I grew up with her daughters & used to spend the night at her house when I was young. Hey Mel, sorry about your friend Chris as well as Josh's step-dad(?), though good that he may be home soon. My friend Stef was telling me about Twilight this weekend, I guess she started reading it and liked it but reviews in EW weren't good (unless that's the movie?) Is it really a romance novel or more sci-fi'ish? I need to start reading again.

Yeah, the first book is amazing. The second & third are good, and I just started the 4th & final book. I'm several chapters in & I am starting to see why fans are upset. I'm confused by her sudden change in writing style, among other things... ???

Anyhow, it's heavier on the romance than I expected for vampire books, but I actually enjoy that aspect of it, surprisingly. If you're more into reading a vampire story that is more action & a bit grisly, I have one I can lend you called The Light At The End. I love that one. But these are totally different. More romance & love story.
