That is really exciting! I think it will probably be really good for you to get away and start your life from the ground up, and New Orleans would certianly be an interesting place in which to do it.

I'm Kristen. I'm from maryland. I'm doing the same thing at the same time...moving to NOLA between january and february. Would you like to pool our resources and chat about our findings on things like jobs, places to live, ect? I envy the fact you know someone. I will be all by my lonesome but I have to do it (fell in love with the place and have been pining for it ever since) Anyway, we could at least commisserate our moving sorrows and excitements if nothing else.
