Let's continue the new series overview. At the same time, Jessica Jones premiered on Netflix the competition in Amazon release "The Man in the High Castle" this time based on Philip K. Dick book with the same title

I have read the book a few years ago, and didn't really manage to get into it (maybe I should give it a second try). But I definitely plan on trying out this show as all my shows are taking their winter break. I had seen the pilot when it was first released and it looked intriguing (if maybe a little too violent).

I think it's worth the look :) As for violence it's much less than in Jessica Jones :D It's actually pretty tame in violence.

And I have no intention of watching Jessica Jones. ;)
I thought the torture scene in the Pilot of High Castle was getting really close to what I can stand. And since the Nazis are ruling the world there's a lot of potential for *horrible* things, so I was a little worried...

That all depends on what make you squint. There are occasional murder and bodies, but I think the torture in the pilot is the most violent one.

Łaaaaa!! I just discovered that the first scene of the pilot, the movie one? It was filmed in Paramount Theatre in Seattle! I've been there! Oh damn I need to watch it again... MONORAIL!!
