I'm still too incoherent. But Good. Definitely Good.

OH MY GOD YES.

It's my favorite book in the series now. I thought it was phenomenal.

Oh, it's because Harry spends half the book "grasping Draco's wand", isn't it?!? ;-)

Emotional. And a rollercoaster. And something was always happening.
And good. Very, very good.
Sod the hype and angst out there, fandom is NOT > canon. Nuh uh. It just doesn't work like that.

Som dodgy bits, but overall, very good.

The only time I'll ever support a theory of "the creator ruined the story" is with George Lucas and the prequels. Because I think that was so based on making and using money that it's not even on par with his original work.

I *knew* she was going to kill off a twin. Also, dammit, my theories were all SO CLOSE and yet so far.

I was betting that:
(a) the Grey Lady was Rowena Ravenclaw
(b) the last horcrux would be a wand, which was part of four items making up the Deathly Hallows
and (c) Snape was in love with Lily.

SO CLOSE.
