Okay, bored, so what.
Based on what Mary and I were working with, I decided to create a Star Trek drinking game.
Take a sip (so as not to send anyone to a hospital) whenever:
*Kirk loses a piece of clothing
*A person (namely female) is shown in that hazy light that makes them look angelic.
*You think, during a bridge scene, "Would Spock just sit the fuck down? Honestly!"
*Spock says "Fascinating."
*There is an exchange between Spock and Mccoy involving both the phrases "green-blooded" and "illogical".
*Mccoy offers someone brandy, whiskey, or another type of liquor
---another sip if he then makes a "This is what I perscribe!" or "My favorite medicine!" joke
*Mccoy says "He's dead, Jim."
*Spock's heritage is mentioned, whether it is Spock saying something like "I am a Vulcan, so..." or something about his Vulcan blood, or if it's Mccoy insulting him, or if it's Kirk reminding him that he's half-human.
*Chekov replaces a w with a v and wisa wersa.
*Sulu is given the bridge.
*Scotty gets very animated, in expressing some sort of distress.
*Mccoy goes nuts and starts ranting at someone.
*The engines aren't working.
*The transporter isn't working.
*The weapons aren't working.
*A main character isn't working (aka, they go insane.)
*The dilithium crystals aren't working.
*The communicators aren't working.
*Uhura sings.
*The prime directive is totally ignored.
*McCoy is a doctor, not a _____.
*There is an extreme lack in continuity. Example: Kirk telling an alien race that is making Spock laugh, that if a Vulcan laughs, he dies. Huh?
*When Spock shows emotion (concern, fear, anxiety, frustration) and it is totally ignored.
*Mind meld
*Neck pinch
*When Bones switches from long to short sleeves, and you're not sure why.
*When Kirk is bluffing
---Another if Spock doesn't get it, and then shows grudging respect at the end.
---And ANOTHER if the person he's bluffing against shows grudging respect when they realize they've been bluffed, and counts him as a "worthy adversary".
Finish your beer when:
*A planet is found with no oxygen on the surface.
*A federation ship is destroyed
*Someone understands exactly what is going to happen with the matter/anti-matter ratio
*McCoy, Spock, and Kirk all agree on something.
*A famous Star Trek quote is actually said in it's quoted setting ("Beam me up, Scotty!" "I'm a doctor, not a ______.", "I canna change the laws of physics!" etc. "Fascinating" does NOT count.)
*A redshirt with a name survives an entire episode.
