So Michael Jackson died last week.  I never really got into any of his music - I've never gone out of my way to listen to him so all I've heard is what inevitably pops up on the radio or a parties and such. Do you ever get the feeling you just don't care as much as the rest of the world on some issues?

I didn't listen to Michael Jackson in life, why would I bother in death?

But I do agree, it's strange what kind of memories are triggered by videos, smells, tastes, etc.
