This post is going to be a pity party post!
Law school sucks the life out of you. Out of your blood. Your bones. Your muscles. Your body. I feel like a used car: every day something new falls apart. Like an old lady, daily recounting just exactly what hurts... One develops a newfound appreciation for parts of the body one didn't know were that important. One is also surprised to learn quite how severely they can make their presence known.
Anyway, today...
My neck hurts. I think it might be the backpack, but it's so tense it's giving me a headache, and the portion of my head just left of my left eye is throbbing.
Of course, there was that experience with Internal Organs May Be Invisible But They Are Important.
My shoulders hurt.
My lower back hurts.
My upper-butt hurts.
My calves are achy.
The newest addition is my left ankle, which feels as though I badly twisted it - though I'm not sure how. It began with a dull ache yesterday and now today there's sharp pain.
And lastly, my wrists hurt all the time. They are constantly sore and aching. I can no longer even pick up a gallon of milk without wincing or having to put it down. I use carpol tunnel hand thingies, but they don't seem to be working very well. Sometimes I awaken in the middle of the night and my wrists are throbbing.
In my next life, I'm going to be a rich law student so I can get a massage each week! That's what I want right now. :-( Unfortunately, I still can't convince James to give me more than a half-second one, and that takes quite effort to get there. (He's a lonely only. He never learned the value of exhcanging back rubs while growing up!)
So that's my rant. I got three hours of sleep last night, and four hours for each of the two nights before that. And now I'm going back to my brief...
