i'm about ready to go close my bank account. i ruined my card like 2 weeks ago. i can't fucking do ANY thing. no groceries. nothing. chase wants the card number before they'll even let me talk to a human. the phone tree is beyond fucking useless. i finally find our box of checks... ha! now maybe i can do something! ID & SSN are enough to access your account, if you go into a branch. It's frustrating as hell, but you're not the first person in your position, and you won't be the last, so they will have a way around this.

that's what scott suggested. i've just been so frustrated with _everything_ lately. this bank business is just is salt in the wound. i was able to eventually get an email to them.

i shoulda named this post "fuckity fuckity fuck". would have been fitting.

id and ssn work just fine when you go in. probably easier cause it only takes one trip and a hour at the most( car ride, bank line, ect). i always go into the bank. only thing i do outside the bank is the atm.

i totally get the fed up with rigged crap. macgyverism is a fallback, it shouldnt be a way of life.

i didn't even go into the bank to set up the accounts. i did it online. i do just about everything online. you know how i hate human - corporate contact... :) and having to walk over there(no vehicle) is just a pain in the ass.

i finally did get a reply tho.
