You could also try dumping the waterless shampoo into a bowl and then getting it out of the bowl. Then again, if it was my cat, she'd KNOW that it came out of the noisy bottle and be scared poo-less anyway.
she has one of those kiddie pools. hee. :) She won't less us bathe her in it, though. She just likes to step into it and stand there while she gets a drink. Her problem is with having *anything* forced on her. Everything has to be on her terms or she won't cooperate at all.
haha. That's not a bad idea, putting the shampoo into the bowl. I might try that, actually. She doesn't like the noise it makes, or the feeling of being sprayed. But she might be willing to tolerate it if she thinks I'm just petting her with wet hands. ;) Thanks!
Try just using cornstarch, then just brushing it off of her. At least... I know humans do this. Or mix 1 tbsp baking soda with 1 cup water and just pour it on her & lather it up (as much as it will.. it should get slippery, but not bubbly. pour more on if it doesn't get slippery, but don't increase the baking soda). This is what Andrew & I are starting to do instead of using shampoo.
She could have some pit bull. Her mom was a Sharpei.. but we never knew who the dad was. So it's possible! We've heard suggestions of pit bull, lab and even great dane. :)
She will sometimes play in the spray from the hose when we water flowers, but she won't hold still and actually less us shampoo her. That would be great if she would!
Sailor loves water. But it has to be on *her* terms. haha. She will play in the hose when my dad waters the gardens, but only if it's her idea, etc. She's such a goob. :)
