Can you believe that there was an adult(ish?) woman sitting next to me in the theater that I saw it in who was so into it (while I was busy making fun of it) that she was trying to pick a fight with me. A lot more entertaining than the movie, though.
Yeah, not to sound sexist, but I could see why women would be a lot more scared of this kind of movie than men. A large part of the film is playing off fears of being vulnerable to intruders in your home. Just based off of the girls I know, they seem to feel a lot more vulnerable in that kind of scenario.
I shouldn't talk, I guess. Scariest movie for me is still The Shining. :(
