They were calling for 20 - 35cm of snow in St John's yesterday.
I think we got WAY more than that.
These are a couple of pictures I took this morning... we got all this snow in about 18 hours.

Ok, I don't usually get on my soapbox, (or post twice in one day, for that matter *laughs*) but I've been thinking about this for a couple of days, and maybe if I write it all out coherantly, it'll make some sense.

This is what I get for saying my life is boring....
My muffler fell off my car today.
In the middle of the busiest street in St. John's.
Luckily my ice skates were in the backseat, so I tied the laces together, and tied my muffler back on.
Despite the fact that my cousin (and half of St. John's that drove past me) now thinks I am MacGuyver, I'm not entirely sure it was worth it. -

Gah. So I went home for thanksgiving break, which was lovely. But while I was at home, my small sister had the flu. Which she insisted on giving to me. So I've been coughing and hacking and sneezing for a week now, and my chest is really sore. To add to my absolutely stellar week, my boss has essentially denied my request for time off to study for, and to take, my FINAL EXAMS. AAAAUGH.
