TV I find worth watching.

I don't own a TV. But the new series Kings I actually find worthwile.
Its the story of King Solomon, and King David set in 2009.
It's pretty nice.
So check it out on NBC. Saturday nights at 8 p.m. starting April 18
Watch it on NBC.com or Watch it On Hulu.

I've really been enjoying it, too! I'm sad to hear they've already cancelled the show though. :( At least they'll be playing the rest of what they have!

They didn't cancel the show, did they? I thought they just moved it to Saturday night.

I thought it was officially cancelled, but perhaps not. I think you're right, it was just moved to Saturday--but I wouldn't be surprised if they just let the show disappear after the final episodes they have left since the ratings dropped.

It's too bad--I thought the show was interesting and engaging with great actors, and I was impressed that the network took a risk on something outside of the typical cop drama. :(

The thing that gets me about this programme is that they tried to retell a story from the Bible, and not one from the New Testament, but from the Old. This is probably the only time in recent history, beyond say, BSG, that would try to explore something with a religious theme so blatantly. The Reverend directly quotes from the Bible on many occasions. It's quite refreshing to see that.
