- Mid January or around that time
-Alex overdoses on heroin (chapter from his point of view? consider point of view change - alternating??) - admitted to hospital for a few days
-Alex tells Javier about the abuse he experienced growing up and about Eric
-Alex discharged from hospital - Javier tells him he's not welcome back home
-Days later, he's given an ultimatum - either jail time or rehab - or (might be better) Javier leaves him unless he goes to rehab, no police involved - police do question him about his dealer, though.
-Alex agrees to go to rehab
