Man..

So, I know my cat's pretty old.. So when my mom called me to tell me that he'd died this afternoon, I was upset, but I understood. What I didn't like hearing, was the manner in which he died. He didn't die quietly, or from some ailment. Ooh no.

Do you mean the cat that you trained Gr to "attack"?
I am so sorry to hear this. My sister's hamster has, unfortunately, also just died of age and poor health, so I can relate right now.

No no, it was my old orange cat from back at the old house. And he didn't die of old age. A pitbull tore him to little orange shreds. =/

Parenthesis make such a difference. . . I meant to put parenthesis around "of age and poor health" and place the word "but" beforehand.
Send the pit bull to the pound. . . there is no excuse for anyone's pet to attack a neighbor's pet, especially one that is no threat. In the mean time, I send happy prayers to your orange kitty ^^

Awww. :( My condolences.

What will you do about the dog?

Well, had I been there I would have simply killed it. Apparently it has been going around and killing/maiming other pets in the past.

What actually happened is that a report was filed against the animal, and I believe it's owners have to deal with it. Not sure if that involves losing the dog or just paying a fine.
