I have already discussed my feelings concerning the changes to the Batfamily in DC's reboot, so I won't bore you with my opinions again. But I did say I would write fic, and even though said fic was supposed to make me feel better, in reality I pretty much made myself cry. (I blame this.)

This was a lovely story and I was needing something after the horrors of reading what DC is doing to its characters and us readers. Thank you for such a sad, great lil fic.

If it makes you feel any better Dick is staying in Gotham. They announced his storyline about the Haly circus being in town and old evil being in it or something like that.

I'm just depressed because they are still completely mum on Tim and Steph still... =(

Thank you very much! That's about the effect I was going for. Even though I love the dynamic between Dick and Damian, I still have a soft spot for Bruce and a large part of me is simply relieved that Damian survived the reboot at all.
