DCU Fic: Doodles

I've had this fic on the back-burner for a while and I finally decided to just sit down and finish it because - honestly - the prompt was too good to pass up.

This is another story based on a prompt from the worlds_finest Birthday/Anniversary Celebration, and I had quite a bit of fun with it. I also got a little more involved than I had originally planned to,

Oh my dear God, I'm grinning like a maniac here! I love how everyone teases him about it in such a friendly way, it's so adorable. And this!

you start talking about your favorite things during these meetings, things like security protocol and new tech in the Watchtower, and you get so animated I just… I can’t look away.

So, sooooo true. There's nothing sexier than a guy who's talking about technical stuff he really cares deeply about, I firmly maintain. And I can totally see Clark distracting himself with doodles so as not to unnerve Bruce by gazing adoringly at him!

The doodles themselves are OMG SO ADORABLE! I'm also oddly taken with the actual agenda notes, that wonderful mix of the mundane and the heroic is riveting. Heee, the Bat beast from the Little League! And Clark's annoyance at not being able to draw his own symbol is hilarious. THIS IS YOUR OWN FAULT, CLARK. :P

I LOVED THIS! Thank you for it, I am off to classes with a huge grin on my face!

YES. THANK YOU. YES. And Clark agrees with us, apparently, hence why he is totally smitten with Bruce during the otherwise dull JLA meetings.

I had a lot of fun deciding what would be on the agenda, so I'm glad the mix of the mundane and the heroic works! And Clark's symbol is so hard to draw. I need Clark needs practice.
