I love this! Chloe is SO right about the alpha male thing, LOL! And nice 'n' spooky for a story. I am looking forward to Part 2. :)

BTW, the voices of all three of our main characters ring clear as a bell! :)

Thanks, I'm really glad you like it so far! And I feel like Clark and Bruce butt heads whenever they meet for the first time in canon, so why not also in fic? ;D

Great set up, Alpha dog!Bruce challenging Alpha dog!Clark in his own back yard with Chloe just oozing fangirl all over the place. I can't wait to see how Bruce and Clark learn to work with one another....or not...lol.

Oh boy! Good old fashioned competition between the boys right off the bat. I have to admit I am super charmed by the idea of Bruce going to Smallville for sleuthing. I also liked him being frustrated that he can't go anywhere without be recognized. I ALSO love the Halloween theme and the idea that they are dealing with something big and bad enough that it will take these two teenaged heroes to figure it out together.

I've always wanted Bruce to come to Smallville! Stupid licensing agreements, keeping him (and Wonder Woman, for that matter) from being an actual character in the series... such a missed opportunity, in my opinion.
