Dec 04, 2013 00:44

it's been over a week since my last update.... i keep wanting to post to lj but then i'm either too busy or too tired. now there's so much i could/would like to update about that i can't fit it all into one entry. i'm exhausted (as always) and just don't have the time...!

to summarize...

last week was my last day in training. ( bleh bleh bleh bleh )

teaching, apartment, work, shopping, videos, eikaiwa, first days, stress

Woah, woah!!!
This is so exciting as it all sounds soooooooooooooooooooo familiar!
That's basically me almost 6 years ago! XDDDD

At least you get to learn from the person you're going to replace!
I wasn't that lucky. After I came - only a few days later - that person just quit out of nowhere and was gone and I had to start teaching classes.
I learned it "the hard way" ;) ....

After 4 years at that school I was in charge of new teachers and was their "trainer", so I totally understand how you feel now.
Relax, you'll get used to everything in no time!

Even after 4 years of eikaiwa experience I completely freaked out when I started at my new school 2 years ago ..... but eventually I got used to that, too.

I love my working hours. I'm just not a morning person, so that's perfect for someone like me.

WOAH!!! Your apartment looks awesome! Can't wait for the video!!! ^____^
Are you allowed to have pets?

Anyways, welcome to "my world"!! ;)

aww, thanks. ;) brings back memories for you, eh? that really sucks that you were just "thrown to the lions" like that 6 years ago. yeah, i was lucky in that regard.

it's scary to hear that even after 4 years at one school you had to almost start over(?) at your current school. ^^; i remember all the problems you've had dealing with small eikaiwa schools..... i hope things get/are better for the both of us in the future!

the video tour of my apartment is here: http://youtu.be/Skfq6jv_UcE

i wish i could have a pet. ;( i think i'll give it some time and then i'll start to try and butter up people in the hopes of being allowed to have one. i at least want a ferret or something, damnit!

It surely does bring back memories.

Well, I was just really unlucky with everything that happened - especially with the apartment and what my predecessor did to it. I doubt s.th. like that would happen to you. At least I hope it never will!!

AWESOME tour through your apartment. I made a video right after moving in but never uploaded it. Now that everything is in the right place I feel like making another video and maybe I get to upload that one then. *g*

Your place looks cozy and spacious. The new washing machine and the bathtub look great. The kitchen looks similar to mine, only that I have shelfs above the think as well to store things.

THAT BED IS HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!! Woah! Your predecessor left a lot of useful things for your. I'm envious!! ^^

Looking forward to hear more about your new life! ^____^

Not sure if I'll be able to comment right away. I'm busy getting ready for my winter vacation back in Germany. ^__^;
