I feel ya. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to move abroad ASAP for a while, but this just sealed the deal. (We have been toying with the idea of me trying for the JET program now that I have my BA but that's up in the air.) I don't feel related to the majority of this country in terms of values at all.

the JET Programme has a really long, riggorous application process but is worth it if you can get in. otherwise, there are lots of other ways to come teach in Japan if that's something that you want to do.

I've been looking at masters programs in Europe, but it all has me feeling inadequate and I'm not really sure what I want. A large part of me wants to forget about it all and just stay here and live in the woods with no internet and just ignore the majority of the planet, haha.

ah. any and all post-grad programs make me feel inadequate, so i can relate.

living in the woods and ignoring the majority of the world sounds awesome, but i'd still want my internet... even if it'd be counterproductive to ignoring the majority of the world. D;
