I'm so sorry about the news about your dad. He needs to hire an attorney if he can to get his belongings back and ensure his wife doesn't take advantage of him in the future.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and suffer the same problem with my fingers. I have my "fake wedding ring" for those occasions where my real wedding ring won't fit. Do you have arthritis and if so, are you on medication?

You are right he does need to. I spoke to him some about it that day but I haven't been able to get a hold of him since. I am going to stop by his house tomorrow while I am out and see what he is up to.

I don't have arthritis but I do have diabetes and sometimes that makes me swell. I am also on some breathing medications that sometimes cause some swelling though thats usually pretty minor. I am sure it will all be better soon. I like your "fake wedding ring" idea. :) right now I am wearing my new Anniversary ring in place of my wedding rings until the swelling is down.

It's something new and it seems pretty out of the blue. I have a feeling it will be permanent and I feel so badly for my Dad. I love him dearly but just like the rest of my family he tends to shut people out when he is upset lately. He was never like that before but it's seeming more the case now. I am going to see if he is home tomorrow. Hopefully I will get to talk to him some then.

I think it's a mixture of my diabetes and some medications I am taking for breathing. It normally goes down after a short time.. I have also noticed that when eat too much salt I have some of the same troubles.

I'm really sorry to hear about your dad's situation. That's very stressful. I will keep him in my thoughts. It seems like things were borderline for him and his wife for a little while now, but this type of stress (with out heart medication) is serious, at least in my opinion. I'll also be keeping you in my thoughts along with Jared since I know you both will be a source of support for your father. Many people seem to forget that support roles can be stressful and demanding in their own ways.

I know you get swelling at times, but this swelling seems above normal. If it continues for a longer period of time, I would suggest speaking with your doctor sis. It worries me. I hope you're okay.

A lot seems to be happening around you. You'll be in my prayers.

Thanks sis. It is stressful and I thank you for the prayers for both Jared and I and my Dad. I am really concerned about him especially since this is all pretty out of the blue. I am hoping she will at least send back his medications or something. I am worried about his heart without his medication.

On a lighter note..I totally understand how you feel about your wedding ring. I just got mine back after being repaired for a week and half. I felt naked. It kind of throws your balance off for a while. I hope everything else is well!! Hope to hear from you soon!!
