So it is the weekend. Hallelujah. Tom Sawyer on monday was godawful, and boring and stressful. And I get to do this every other week for a long time.
So our school play opens in like 13 school days, and we're still not done writing it at all. In fact, this morning a few of us with 1st off met with the director to discuss writing a scene about myspace. Serena and I decided to take it on. She wrote one page at home and then sent it to me to work on seventh. I wrote three more pages, which the group and the director generally liked. We need to broaden and add stuff, so Serena took it home, deleted the three pages I wrote and wrote a completely different thing, and I'm kinda a lot pissed. Cuz today in rehearsal she seemed to be taking all the credit for it, and then tonight when she was working on it and showing me her new thing she asked for suggestions and then refused to take any of them. But enough of co-writing drama.
I'm just gald to have a couple days (slightly) off, though I have overwhelming loads of homework. I need to work on my two all-state auditions which are coming up, plus learning all eight songs for the choir trip to New York. Even for New York she made me a Bass I. I AM NOT A BASS GAH. Singing low is seriously murdering my poor voice. I hate it. The parts are also way more boring.
