OMG, I haven't had tong sui in aaaaaages! Now I must find me a recipe for it - with maybe lotus seeds. And hunt down from pandan leaves.

back home in singapore my mum's favourite would be to just cut the sweet potato up in cubes, and put it with the rice to cook in rice cooker. the rice comes out sweeter and slightly orange too.
