it's because even though i don't like to admit it, part of me enjoys the thought of a take-control-traditional-kills-things-with-his-hands manly man.

i don't think whiny men are that; they are whiny boys.

I don't make much distinction between whiny men and whiny women. Whiny-ness in general, typically, I think is just annoying. I definitely agree with the "do something or stop whining" attitude. Its OK occasionally, and I find that I make exception for it if I know that its just in play, but extensive whining gets out of hand.

i am more lenient toward whiny women because i am much harsher on them as the list continues. i'm just trying to keep my hate equal between the sexes.

and in play, sure... but again, only to a certain degree. after the first few times, they're just doing it for attention, which brings me to #2: drama-tic people.
