Snow?!

We're having a heavy snowstorm right now. This is really unseasonal, even for Winnipeg. Last year in April I remember walking around without a jacket, and wearing t-shirts and skirts to my summer class in May. Today, we've already had a half-foot of snow. So much for going to the beach anytime soon

Ugh! We actually managed to escape the curse of the April blizzard that seems to come every year . . . and I believe we are considerably farther south than you!

Thanks. It is very pretty, but very surreal. I feel like I'm snowed in and skipping classes in March instead of on summer vacation. I hope it doesn't hurt the trees, which were just starting to tentatively blossom. Oddly, our April was almost snow-free, and we haven't had snow for about a month.

Wow! In my part of Scotland we have had next to no snow, and so far May has been lovely! Snow in May is weird!!!! But pretty!
