now for something completely different

I worked on an imac for three months at Corbett Cibinel in Winnipeg using the very Mac-friendly VectorWorks. Now that I'm in Vancouver at Hughes Condon Marler I do my work in Autocad on....a flat-screen Dell.

Every once in a while I think of what fraserspeirs would say and shed a little tear. The imac was very beautiful.

Aww....

I'm happy with my Dell workstation and AutoCAD. Maybe they just need to upgrade to a faster system? I do feel your pain though, Vectorworks had a friendliness that AutoCAD lacks.

I actually like AutoCad better (it's more idiot-proof, and I always know whether or not I am snapping to other lines :).) It's just the prettiness of the mac I miss; the system is fast enough.
