Visited Memere in the hospital again yesterday. Chris, Meghan's dad, was there when we arrived. We talked with Memere and Chris for a few hours. She looked better than she did last time we were there. She also seemed to have a little more energy. But apparently it's not going to last. The doctors say she's too sick to continue chemo. You are very fortunate to have someone who is that strong and capable to remain alive with a disease that is so deadly so quickly. My nana died of cancer within six months of the diagnosis, and no one saw it coming. I saw the flame in her eyes ignite and then die as month by month she came to her end.The last time I saw her was on her deathbed, the 180 degree difference of herself from a year before. It's not something I like sharing. Indeed, I hardly talk about it with anyone. But I want you to know that I completely sypmathize with your Memere and hope that she is able to keep fighting. To. The. End. Because that's what it's all about.

My heart goes out to you and yours. I'm two houses up, just in case you forgot...or I forgot. :P

Thanks for your kind words Erica. They really mean a lot to me because I'm just feeling so lost. I might just come and visit sometime soon because we havn't talked since like the start of summer (how sad!). Anyway, hope all is well with you.
