Eleven Months of Night

Okay, finally.  The prologue is FINISHED.  Today was a crazy writing day ... I don't think I'll be writing so much on future days.  My brain wants to explode right about now.  First days word count:  9980.  Sheesh.  NO MORE OF THAT.  The only reason this all went so fast was because I had insanely huge outlines written out for ( Read more... )

Ooooh, interesting. You are really ramping up the drama quotient here but given the backstory, it works! I'm a liiiiiitle suspicious about Victoria though... is she really all that she seems or is she playing a double game? And poor Seph... having her life turned upside down can't be easy but she's dealing it with a lovely mixture of both despair and strength!

It's good to be suspicious of just about EVERYONE in this story. Can't trust anybody! ;) But thank you for reading, and I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!

Yeah, I did go to Wheel of Fortune! lol I just totally forgot to write about it because, well ... nothing really interesting happened. Didn't even get called up on stage. :p It was a fun time, though. :D

Oh well this is a better way of explaining Persephone getting taken to the Underworld instead of Hades showing up with his chariot/pimpmobile.

I'm so excited for Seph and Jack to meet. I foresee a big personality clash :)

Yeah, I'm just about finished with the actual first chapter ... I can already tell that the two of them together are going to be MUCH FUN to write.

LOL I've been asking Bryan all kinds of stupid questions about the male psyche as I write, as well. Things like "How shallow are men? I mean, REALLY?" And his answers made me sad. lol Be afraid, be very very afraid. ;)

Men: like boobs
Men: like boobs a lot
Men: did someone say boobs?

LOL And sadly, this was close to what Bryan said. Except he threw in a few "asses" and he didn't say boobs ... he said ... well, another word that means boobs. ;)

Basically, for all who are wondering, the answer is "Yes, men really ARE that shallow." If we'd all just accept that, we'd probably be a happier bunch. lol

You are enjoying yourself writing this. I had an absolutely great time reading this.

I wonder why Xavier is always a great choice for an antagonist?

I'm definitely having a lot of fun with this! I'm glad you are enjoying it so far!

lol I don't know why Xavier seems to work so well for bad guys. But it was the first name that popped into my head when I was naming people, and it just kinda stuck. :D
