A family friend of ours lost his house due to the fire. He lives/lived up on the Santa Susana Pass road. Our neighborhood was evacuated so I threw some clothes in my car and stayed at John's

you know what reeeally pisses me off? the media keeps saying that only one home was lost but that's obviously complete bullshit since several people that I know have told me that they watched their neighbors' house(s) go up in flames as they were leaving. So for a while I thought maybe "only one home burned" meant that only one home was burned to the ground. but now I dont know. Was your friend's house burned in its entirety?

No it really was onlky one home that was completely lost is what they are saying but they ARE saying that some have lost garages and things like that. I mknow this because one of our best family friends is a batallion cheif!!! so....

no they were out buildings!!! people thought they did and were telling the media that they did, unless since the last day of the fires they found out other things!!!
