So, the Sigur Ros concert was probably the best concert of my life. Sure, Skinny Puppy had excellent theatrics, but let's face it: The acoustics of Bogart's just plain suck. Interpol managed to pull off a pretty good concert there, but SP's sound is far too dense to warrant good representation in such a small venue. I digress

I saw them in Cleveland. Untitled 8 was absolutely insane. Their drummer was like... wow.

Did you know: they made a music video of untitled 1 (from ()). Storyline was post nuclear. Elementary school kids go outside for recess in gas masks etc., one girl's mask breaks, and as she is dying she gets to witness the true beauty of the world for the first time...

Yay for post rock. Do you think Godspeed will be touring again any time soon?

Their website (www.brainwashed.com/godspeed) says they are on "extended hiatus" and "currently have no plans to tour". Figures.

I'll have to check out that video - it sounds incredible.
