The anniversary weekend went well.  Drove to Galveston, spent the day on the strand, sans young'uns.

This weekend was my company picnic, zoo on the company's dime, whoot!  They fed us, paid for the carosel, and I won $200.

Finally finished Half Blood Prince, now the hard part, stealing Deathly Hallows from the wife.  We bought it Saturday and she's already re-reading it.

I finally made it to Polonia and I've fallen in love!  It's a small Polish restaurant at Bingle and Campbel, attached to a deli/ grocery of the same name, under the same owner.  It was my mom, Glenn and his girlfriend, and my bunch.  For all of us the bill was about $100, and everything was magnificent.  Glenn's girlfriend is from Slovakia, close ( Read more... )

As I was unable to get my house under control, and there really wasn't a definitive plan, game is off.  Here's hoping we can pull it together by the next appointed date.

For those who are being caught unawares, Doug's leaving tonight.  Well, as I recall, technically tommorrow, but anyhow, tonight's the loading party.  So you know where, come help Doug and Steph load all their shit, er, I mean, things into a UHaul.

PS My daughter is already becoming a gamer, last night we played Talisman for about an hour!

Took Doug and Steph out last night, had a nice going away dinner, and was short on the bill.  They brushed it off and took a little more than half the bill from me.  It was $73 or so and I think I had $62.  They took what I had, paid, and handed me back a $20.  I think I'm still a little red this morning.
