If I am one of those 16 mutual friends... I noticed that it was snowing here where I am yesterday morning when I got up to go to class around 8 am or so ;) So while your sister may have noticed befor me (she is insane and gets up around 6 I hear), I noticed before you... granted you may have noticed that it was snowing in /vancouver/ before I did... as while I knew it was suppose to snow there, I did not know it had until you confirmed it.
How much did you get? we had 2 - 3 inches on the ground in places here before it started to melt.
The problem was that it started to snow yesterday, but it was still daytime and warmer than freezing so it was melting as it was falling... So over the night, it kept snowing, but the slush was underneath. Which is why it was so awful out today, with snow on top of a thick layer of ice. Icky.
The real problem was the grounds people shoveling the walk outside my door then neglecting to put down salt, sand, or deicer of any sort... So, without nice snow, which has traction, atop afore mentioned ice one nearly breaks thier neck stepping outside for the first time in the morning... due to the sheet of ice that the shoveling turned the walkway into...
Lol, you seem very confident that you're the first person who saw it, without actually asking everyone if they noticed the snow before you... Thats rather interesting. Although I'm fairly certain it started snowing in Ridgefield before Vancouver.

I think we must have switched weather - it's been raining here for the past couple of days.
