Through the Earthquake

 I want to let everyone know that I am ok and safe after yesterdays earthquake.  Its hard to believe it has been 24 hrs since it happened now.  Things are much more settled at the moment.  Work was cancelled for me so I am staying home.  I think trains aren't running anyway, I don't know if they will be back tomorrow.  I am just grateful and glad ( Read more... )

Glad to know that you're okay and not seriously harmed or affected by it all.
It's really amazing what you described, how everyone was calm during that state. Kudos to Japan for that as well as the way Tokyo was built, and here's to those who got hit with the worst of it and to all the families and people out there in need of help ♥

Yes, the Japanese are amazing in how they have dealt with this crisis, it makes me proud to be here among these people. I'm definitely still hoping the best for all those that continue to suffer, I only wish I could do more.

Sooo glaD TO HEAR YOU ARE ALRIGHT,your description of what you experienced really brings it home and made it feel even more real!!The Japanese are wonderful to still remain polite and calm during such a disaster shows their strength of character!! The way the Japanese have dealt with and coped in this situation really is impressive, I can't imagine anywhere else in the world where the people could have remained so calm and in control, it makes me so proud to be here among them!
