Back Online
After a week and a half of being out of commission my dear computer is now finally back. I am trying to catch up on a lot of stuff that got kind of backed up. I really missed having my computer around. I lived without one for so long, I only got it a little over 3 years ago, but now it seems impossible to be without it.
There might be another break from being online in the near future for me though. Today I just signed a contract and paid fees for a new apartment in Tokyo. I've been wanting to move for months but with the stupid system of key money that Japan has it makes it very difficult to get a new apartment. I really have no love for the system they have here, it makes no sense to me. However, with a lot of help I've finally managed to get one in a good location. I need to move if I ever hope to change jobs. Six months ago my company went bankrupt and things have felt fairly unstable since then. So many things keep changing and I don't know what to expect, I don't know how solid the ground is that I'm standing on so I want to try to improve my position, so the first step was getting out of the company apartment. I've signed the paper work but I still have to move. I haven't packed a thing as I was still not sure if this was going to happen until today. Packing will be the easy part though. I really need to find someone who is willing to drive if I rent a truck for the move, this will probably be much cheaper than hiring a mover. I am also moving from a furnished to an unfurnished apartment meaning I need a lot of basic furniture like a refrigerator and a washing machine and a microwave. I'll have to wait on a TV. The new apartment doesn't even have a closet :( so storage for my clothes is also something I need. Its going to be really really tight, it will be another month of eating very cheap food, I look forward to the day of eating real food again. Gakuen this week isn't going to help either.
I guess I'll get it figured out in the end. After this whole move is done then I get to start job hunting.
For those of you wondering about Touch the Numbers: Hopefully I can do a post soon but with the move I can't guarantee anything. However, it will be pretty short anyway, there hasn't been much in months and what there has been has not been very interesting or informative so you aren't missing much.
