My life has seen a highly exciting development. John has got a job in Dewsbury! He will, for the first time, be paid to teach English at a school which is not among the bottom 20 in the UK! 60% "whose mother tongue is not English" ... those'd be the ones who speak broad West Yorksharian! lol

when I was in my school band we used to battle Batley Grammar School in a couple of regional music competitions each year!

I hope you enjoy it ooop there... I think you all will and Daniel will be fine... I liked growing up in Yorkshire :-) and Wakefield is lovely

Thank you! I have very happy childhood memories of Yorkshire, having had some of my favourite relatives up there, and I'm sure Daniel will love growing up there! Yay!

my best mate went to uni in huddersfield so know the area a little bit its not to bad a place but kind of small town but huddersfield is good and it isnt far from leeds which is a place that has a massive spot in my heart so it cant b all bad! just have to get used to all teh scary northereners!

Half of my family are scary northerners from Bratford and Halifax so I'll be a little bit prepared! :-D

Thanks, tho anonymous comments keep life interesting! :-D
We'll probably move at the end of july, after John has finished his year at Sir Frank Markham school. Then we'll spend about a month living with his parents in Cleethorpes, to save a month's rent, then move to Wakefield or thereabouts in late august.
