Honestly, that chapter just makes me angry. Not at you, don't get me wrong, at McGee. I saw a comment (I think on AO3) to the first chapter where someone stated how good it was that McGee finally got a chance to get back at Tony for all he'd done to McGee (or something like that). I'm sorry, I'm probably biased, but I don't see this as being the same thing as the pranks Tony has played or the name calling. This is malicious and it's blackmail and most definitely conduct unbecoming a federal agent. I might have accepted it for a day or so, but going on for days? With obvious effect on Tony's health? Even more important, using blackmail (yes, it is blackmail, don't try to tell me otherwise (that's more towards imagined McGee defenders and not you ;)), he's making Tony doing his work on top of it. Tony might have tricked him into doing his work, but not through blackmail. Absolutely not acceptable and I sure as hell hope there will be real consequences for McGee. Not just a 'sorry, didn't mean for that to happen - okay, you're forgiven ( ... )

The antagonism between the two characters was really exacerbated in the show though I don't think they gained in stature by that. In this fic, I will try to explain each point of view and the reason why they are acting this way. Tim's desire to get his revenge is understandable, but the way he decided to get it is very dangerous, even if he doesn't realize it.

Don't worry, you can let it out as much as you want. ;)

Sorry for my belated reply, but I have been sick since Sunday (yes, that's how I celebrated my birthday and yes, it sucks lol) and I could barely get out of bed. Fortunately for Tim, Tony is certainly the most forgiving character I have ever seen. Yet, Tim will have to make amends, especially after Gibbs finds out what he has done.

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes at that moment.
