A rather long overdo, but short update.
So, i've not updated in a good bit, but I've had a pretty good reason for not doing just that. I had the idea in my head that I'd update every day starting at the beginning of the year. I'll just put it out there. Linda, Bob's Mom passed away around my birthday. The short version is that her kidneys failed. There was a lot more that had gone on ( Read more... ) -

I am indeed still alive. :)
So, I think that with the passing of Wendell last year, I lost all my interest in updating this journal. I'd started an update to let everyone know what was going on, then life happened, and it happened pretty quickly. I'm not going to update every day, but I will at least make an attempt to do better. Books!
So, let's see. What do I have to say?It's Mother's Day, and because Bob is awesome, I was able to post on Dad's wall, on Facebook. I'd actually wanted to do something for him, like get him a 12-pack of MGD, but all of the places that we looked yesterday they were out. Wow, I've not updated in ages!
So, I'm trying to update this journal thing here more often. Doesn't help that I've gotten in touch with someone here recently that was like, "Hey, Gina, I miss you updating your LiveJournal. Update.
I hope that everyone is doing well. I am pretty well myself, but my power cord for my laptop has died. I tried to replace it with the end of the cord that Tim had given me a while ago, but that did not work. It could be a lot worse though.
