I don't really know why I don't post more often. Sadly, most things I can think off to say are completely irrelevant to most of you, but I'll try ( Read more... )

Katie Melua? :> If it's from Call Off The Search album I might know it. (though maybe not, I gave away the CD and then lost the mp3 copies) D¦

If I could be bothered to go over to the CD player to check, I could probably confirm that it is her "Best Of" album. I got it for Christmas, and have been listening to it more than I thought I would be. But apparently, not enough to learn the track names *g*

They are replacing Morvan and Munuera now? Almost makes it feel like Spirou creators lately aren't as long-lasting as they used to be. (Which is a faulty conception based on the messed up way they are published here in Swedish, I know.) But sure, as you say their strength was more on the art than the stories, so I don't think I'll grieve all that much.

Speaking of Spirou, have you seen the project of one-shot Spirou albums by different creators that's running in France and Germany? And of course not planned for Swedish release anytime soon. Some of those looks kind of interesting to me. While some looks more plain weird, but that's another thing.

I can't remember where I saw it, but yeah, Morvan and Munuera are going. With all the facepalm of their most recent deed, I can't get myself to mourn it.

According to the publishers, they're going to be releasing the "special" albums as part of the normal order here. One is out so far, and I can't say I'm hugely impressed with it. If you want, I could send you the one I bought - I don't think I'm going to miss it much.

I still have to get my hands on the last M&M Spirou work (since the date of publication here is at the end of this month), so I shouldn't say anything about that yet. Still - as I have probably said before - nowadays it all too often seems to be a thinking that if the artwork is just shiny enough, the actual plot is a secondary thing. It disturbs me a little, because it feels like such a waste of nice art sometimes.

Since I still haven't been able to find any mention of them planning to publish the specials here, and if you really don't mind parting from it, sure. I would be silly turning down the offer (if you still have time between you packing, that is). It would be an easier way for me to satisfy my curiosity than having to order it from Germany after all.

In the case of you being that nice, do you still have my address, or do you want it again? (And, as usual, if you want to be reimbursed in some way for it, just say so.)

I just don't see why they can't pair the good artists with the good writers - God knows there are times I want to spew all over The Sandman as I read it (haven't had the opposit reaction so much, curiously enough. Except maybe Nemi.)

I do have your adress, but what I don't have is a big enough envelope. I'll see if I can hunt down something with my parents', but that can probably take a while. So if you don't mind waiting, I don't mind sending it to you.
