"Miss Peorth!"

Matsuri ran up the stairs from her basement into the ground level of the church.

It was still rather early in comparison to when she normally woke up, but there was a feeling of urgency running through her limbs. Something felt wrong.

Gaining no answer, Matsuri continued to run through the short rows of pews and into the area where the rose garden was situated. Turning her gaze towards the roses, she could see that a few of them were wilting. That was odd, Miss Peorth would never allow her roses to show even the slightest sign of ill care.

"Miss Peorth!" Matsuri called again, turning her head to see if the goddess would suddenly appear before her. While taking a look around, she realized that the rose garden was suddenly shut. Where was the pathway she just ran through moments before?

Her surroundings were starting to turn brighter, and she could tell it was not any artificially produced light. Looking upwards, she could see the sky begin to brighten. There was a whole in the ceiling, she remembered Miss Peorth saying that it was for the roses.

The previous urgent feeling running through Matsuri's veins was replaced by sudden fear. She didn't have the sunlight-protecting umbrella Miss Peorth gave her. The sun hitting her skin would not be good at all, she could easily recall the burning sensation that normally came with the day. Slowly, things began to get brighter and the clouds began to clear. The first rays of sun shone through, stinging her skin.

She winced and dared to look up again. Slowly, the sun began to show itself and--

Matsuri wakes up in the darkened basement and turns to her Dreamberry, feeling very groggy. It's pitch black down there and they can only hear her voice, confused and with a tinge of fright.

".... Miss Peorth?"
