I finally found the setlist for the concert Ash and I went to see, so I am posting it here mainly so we don't forget and so I can try to write a proper live report sometime. (Not likely.) Please feel free to ignore.

Intense. It was the first time going to a concert that I was happy to be in the stands and not the arena -- even though I was still pretty close to the center stage. The way G-D commanded the crowd all show was incredibly surprising to me, coming from a fandom where the fans act like they're at a church service rather than a pop concert and where the lead member, despite being a charismatic guy, couldn't command a dog to sit, but I especially remember the energy during Hallelujah being so palatable and deep that my heart was racing and I couldn't look away for even a moment. I was also amazed at how into it the mostly Japanese crowd was; I've never known Japanese fans to do anything even remotely like jumping and dancing and screaming during songs and putting their hands way up in the air and pumping them to violent rhythms without concern for 'proper concert manners', but everyone acted like happy soldiers at bootcamp at this show. I was so impressed. I almost cried. XD

I have no idea, but I'd say a good chunk was probably Korean or zainichi... however, the bulk of the audience seemed to be Japanese, as they chanted their Japanese names and did the Japanese style encore call, etc. I was really shocked! I think there are probably a lot of Japanese concert goers who are really tired of the overly polite, prim concert culture here; actually, there's a pretty big overlap between Japanese K-pop fans and w-inds. fans, and I saw a lot of w-inds. merch at the con, so I'm wondering if it's not just Ash and I who are frustrated with the low level of energy and enthusiasm at w-inds. lives. XD ( ... )

We were really, really lucky. It's been a week and I still haven't gotten over the concert high. Thank God BB fans sneak their cameras in all the time, as I can just watch fancams until the DVD is released in April. XD But yeah, the minute Wedding Dress started, I was like T______T and had no real reason why. It was just a very intense experience.

I don't blame you! I was on an epik high for a month at least. I couldn't believe how long I was hyped over that concert. I still sort of am >>;

Fancams are made to hold over fans until DVDs release, definitely xD;; I'm thinking of watching a few of them out of sheer curiosity. And going to one of their concerts is on my 'things to do before I die!' list.

It must have been the sheer freaking awesome of the atmosphere (and taeyang. because taeyang OOZES sexy *___*)

Totally changing the subject here, but I was reading the comments above me, and jesus, I just remembered how relatively blah it was at the w-inds. concerts I went to. I really want them to have more awesome audiences at their cons T___T
