Annoyances

My New Year's this year was...ok. Definitely didn't beat last year, which was the best New Year's party ever. Dan brought his new love interest, Jesse, over to meet everyone. I hear you. It's really rare that anyone has any useful information for me when it comes to going after a master's. I kind of get that...sometimes I have lulls when I'm not as busy and start to feel bad, and I think maybe I should be working. But then, the last 3 weeks of the semester with 15 credits were kind of like, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" *rips hair out* I had all the time in the world and I was working like crazy and surviving on coffee and naps, and then was very happy I didn't have to work.

And trust me, if you continue with teaching that won't happen when you're student teaching. It's full time work, plus writing lesson plans and your seminar. It's total discrimination and horseshit that student teachers legally can't be paid like other interns can, but that's how it goes unfortunately.
