Before the series between the Heat and the Oklahoma THunder started, I joking ly said, "I think the Heat will lose the first game, everyone will say that they neeed to fire Spolstra, break up the big 3, bench Bosh, trade Wade, and so forth, then the Heat would win the next 4 and win in 5." I don't have any problem with LeBron as a player (I don't know enough about basketball to go running my mouth in that regard), just with his sucky attitude upon leaving Cleveland. And, with the Heat beating the Celtics in the conference finals, I had a local obligation to hope OK City won.

So now, jokingly talk about how the Red Sox will make the playoffs this year.

I think I'm saving my jokes for the election. I can just see Obama doing something stupid or embarassing himself a week before the election, admitting something that really makes him look bad, or something coming out about the national security leaks or Fast and Furious, and Romney winning bigger than anyone expects.

The Red Sox will get in as a Wild Card after a late season surge, beat the Rays and the Rangers, and see the Marlins in the World Series. A second baseman will let a ground ball slip past their glove in Game 7 and will be the new goat in Boston for a long time to come.

I was on vacation and not listening to the news when it was announced that LeBron James was signing with the Heat. What did he do when he left Cleveland that was so bad? I know people thought it was tacky that he was having this big event to announce where he was going. It seems a bit narcissistic, but a lot of Millenials are narcissistic. I think it was somewhere in Ohio. I think people thought it was between Cleveland and Miami. Was it that they thought it was cruel having the event in Ohio and making people think he could still go with Celveland? Did he say something bad about Cleveland as a city? I'm confused. Maybe I should've paid attention to the news but when I'm on vacation, I don't want to.

He went on about how he wanted to go somewhere he could get a ring and play for a real team. Which did not sit well with a lot of Clevelanders.
