I noticed. [He calls back, still borderline amused. This is ridiculous, after all...] Hey, do you think the doors will unlock if we eat the food?

Maybe, but I don't see us having much choice but to eat it. You can't break down the doors or bust a window, can you? [Not that he could, either- just look at him, he's a runt!]

Besides, I had a piece of this [prods turkey with a fork] and I didn't notice anything wrong with it.

Wait, who is this other guy?] ... [The food DID look appetizing though. It could be a trick by the town, but Ryoga at the moment felt pretty hungry. But he's not Ranma and isn't going to jump at the first opportunity to stuff his face that he sees.]

[Not quite sure who you are, but he doesn't really care. Has picked up a fork and is cautiously prodding various dishes. Hungry as he is, he doesn't trust this place enough to just start eating.]

I'm not sure. It smells alright, but...
