In retrospect: this post has led to me listening to the "Contact" LP as well as the second Suicide LP today.

yes, i have gone down in the dark where none is welcome.

i love dark day.

but yes the contact lp is really special. i have known love is such a beautiful song.

are you one of those who likes the second suicide album better than the first?

While the second album is great and all, the Cars-production on it, in the end, is not for me. I got the first Suicide LP back when I was 18... and it absolutely blew my mind. Still listening to that album at top volume cannot be beat. And the live recordings from that era are amazing as well.
