I adore coffee - with all my heart - but not more than i adore my lovely pongo. I finally joined a gym that i've been meaning to join since around christmas time... i feel much better now, and i find myself less irritable. . . granted that doesn't say much for my irritability, but i'm easier to live with , and that's all that counts ( Read more... )

::gasp:: an ann post! how strange and bizarre to see on my friends page....

i actually had religion on the brain myself as of late, having been on a week long mission trip with my church down to New Orleans... for some most excellent food for thought, i recommend tracking down a copy of the play JB by Archibald MacLeish (sp?)... its a kind of postmodern existential take on the Job story done as a play in verse with some absurdist vibes that would seem to be up your alley.... it may well be the best book i've read in college

so of course i have a final in 12 hours that i DESPERATELY need to be studying for right now, so i'm procrastinating and poking across this internet thing. then i stumbled upon livejournal and saw and entry that my dear friend ann wrote where she MENTIONED MY NAME so i just could not resist writing a response, even if it is two months later. heh heh heh and you didn't think i'd reply. muahha. well religion religion religion, i wasn't really planning on thinking about this tonight. and your writing prompt is exceptionally vague, i might add, so i'm not quite sure what you want me to say. soo all i'll say is this. a mon avis, religion may be right for some people and not right for others, but either way, neither side of the debate has or ever will have any concrete proof or disproof of some higher being or power or thing, so really, if it is important to you, you should definitely consider all your options and follow what you feel comfortable with, and if it means nothing to you, hey that's cool too.

goodnight, ann.
