I've recently been reading the most excellent web comic Girl Genius, which is set in a world ruled by mad scientists. Badly. Thing is, I'm something of a coincidence magnet and I've also been coming across stuff that makes me think that the comic might not actually be that far fetched. I present for your consideration:

Oooh! I'm afraid I haven't read Girl Genius as much as I should, but some of the color work was done by a friend of mine, Laurie E. Smith, for a while back when it was a print comic.

And my coincidence magnetism strikes again. On the other hand, I suppose that one of the things about the net is that it has a way of making six degrees of seperation more interesting.
