The "not natural" argument drives me up the wall! Pace makers, coronary bipasses, insulin injections for diabetics, c-sections... none of those are "natural" either. I wonder how many conservative Christians (or anyone else using the "not natural" argument) have had one or more of those...

huh, I never thought of the occurrence of homosexuality being related to overpopulation, but I see where you're going with that. It does make sense--one less couple populating the planet, and if they do want kids, then less kids without loving homes ( ... )

You may be right. The thing about it though, is that within these thousands of years, we have yet to experience an age where all of humanity accepts socially the concept of a loving relationship between two members of the same sex just as readily as they do one of opposite sexes. That alone poses the question, just what would that kind of world be like?
